I am a health economist currently funded by the Wellcome Trust and the University of Sheffield.
Dr. Robert Smith is a health economist based in Sheffield, UK. His research focuses on the application of methods from data-science to health economics, with a particular interest in simulation methods. Rob has worked with a large number of organisations including NGOs, Governments, Universities, Companies and Charities. Some notable names include: the World Health Organization, Joint Biosecurity Centre, UK Health Security Agency, GlaxoSmithKline, Sanofi, Daiichi Sankyo, parkrunUK, and the University of Sheffield. He is particularly interested in the use of web-based user-interfaces to improve decision model transparency.

Dark Peak Analytics is a partnership between Rob and Dr. Paul Schneider, based near Sheffield and the Peak District national park, England. The company’s primary area of expertise is the application of data-science to health economics, public health and decision science, in particular the creation of bespoke web-based user-interfaces for economic models of health technologies & public health interventions.
